If you fancy an educational day out you won't go far wrong with a visit to Prescot Museum. The Museum specialises in clock and watch making - where you can see how the basic timepiece we know today was made in medieval times.
During you're visit you will be encouraged to join in and have a go at some of the techniques which were once used to make a clock, as well as taken on a tour of the historic town of Prescot.
