World of Glass uses the very best in modern technology and multimedia to illustrate the history, making and everyday use of the one of the worlds oldest resources - glass. The exhibition also hosts live demonstrations and high-tech cinema effects to help you in your understanding.
Exhibitions include: a tour of 19th century tunnels; an overview of the growth of St Helens; the origin of glass production; and look at how glass will be used in future. An excellent and educational day out for all.
